Rafael Nazario, 50, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on June 15, 2019.
Rafael Nazario was born November 12, 1968. He was the son of Hector Nazario and Ruthie Colon. He was fortunate to be raised by his step-mother, Ernestina Barreto. Rafael was the eldest of 5 siblings on his father's side, and the eldest of 8 on his mother's side. Ralphie was a kind loving person. He was a simple man, who loved his family. Ralphie was special he didn't have the mechanical gene all the Nazarios have, but he was the family comedian. He loved making people laugh. He would make you laugh until your belly hurt. He had jokes like "ahi no" that will live on forever. Our fondest memory of him was him singing "Querida" from Juan Gabriel in Puerto Rico at our first family reunion. He sang it with passion, he stomped his foot to the beat. He had everyone crying from laughing so hard. And we can't forget when he threw himself in a kiddie pool as big as he was. He loved his music: freestyle and salsa. Words can't express the grief we feel today.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Luz Nazario.
Rafael is survived by his father, Hector Nazario; his step-mother, Ernestina Barreto; his mother, Ruth Colon; his siblings, Yvette Nazario, Chastity Nazario, Gleny Nazario, Anthony Sanchez, Zaida Colon, Amos Colon, Stephen Colon, Chris Colon. Militza Colon, Matthew Colon, and Eunice Colon; and numerous loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
