Rafael E. Roman, age 78 of Orlando passed away Sunday, July 23, 2006. Born in Catano, Puerto Rico, he moved to Central Florida in 1991.. He was a retired shoe maker.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Roman of Orlando; daughters, Elba Echevarria of Puerto Rico, Jennie Roman of Orlando and Yolanda Roman of Ft. Lauderdale; son, Ramiro Rivera of Puerto Rico; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 27, 2006 in the Chapel of Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando.
