Ralph W. Ott, 84, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on November 30, 2020.
He was born on April 9, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York. In May of 1956, Ralph joined the United States Air Force, where he spent four years as an aircraft mechanic. Following his service in the Air Force, he worked Orange County School system before become a firefighter for the City of Orlando. In 1962, he married his wife, Elsa Ott, and they had two children.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Lorena Byrd; his children, Karen (Chuck) Plourde, and Michael Ott; grandchildren, Alexis (Jamie) Gehring, Christopher Ott, Collin Plourde, and Olivia Plourde; and his great-granddaughter, Darcy Gehring.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elsa Ott; his parents, Marion and Leah Ott; and his brother, Francis "Bud" Ott.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11:00 am at First Baptist of Orlando - Henry Chapel, with a luncheon to follow.
