Ramiro Caraballo Reyes

Ramiro Caraballo Reyes was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico on December 16, 1947 to Pedro Morales Caraballo and Ramona Reyes Hernandez. He was one of the youngest of 14 siblings and had one of the most infectious smiles and personality. Ramiro moved to NY to pursue the American Dream and became a mechanical engineer for Bronx Lebanon Hospital for nearly 45 years.

When not working, Ramiro was a car affecionado. His love for old school cars brought him to visit Cuba where he enjoyed site seeing in some of his favorite automobiles. Besides his love of cars he loved his culture and his family. He held those he loved near and dear and was always the first one to be there in your time of need. He was social with everyone giving his friends and neighbors his killer smile. 

Many were fortunate to witness him dance to his Spanish music and have a drink and share stories of his childhood. He is and will forever remain the biggest hearted individual and pilar to his family.

Ramiro is survived by his wife Daisy, his daughters Maria Caraballo- Odwin, Maria Sanchez-Bonilla, Luis Sanchez, Step daughters- Sabina Maldonado , Stephanie Maldonado, siblings, Ramonita, Julio, Julia, and Cruzita, many grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, his son-in law Charles and many friends.
