Ray Franklin Kerr Born 11-6-1932 Died 4-25-2020
Ray was born to Clovis Simon Kerr and Ellamae Deemer at Apollo, Pa. He is survived by six sons: Richard [Dawn], Robert, Ray Charles [Barb], Ronald [Kathy], Russell [Sheila], John. He was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy [John Dorfner] and his first wife, Estella. Ray will be loved and missed by grand children, great grand children, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Ray is also survived by his wife, Imogene and two step children, Mandi and Ken [Sue] and two step grand children.
Ray was a member of the Deltona Alliance Church, Deltona, Fl.. He was a member of the Gideon's International for forty years. Ray did short term mission trips to Central America, Africa, and Viet Nam.
He was retired from General Motors, Rochester Product Division as a general supervisor and was a licensed electrician. He was skilled in doing many home repairs and had a small business for a few years.He enjoyed woodworking and fashioned many canes using hand tools. Fishing was rewarding for him also. Ray could fix anything!!!
He will be sadly missed by extended family and many friends. Ray loved the Lord and shared Jesus with many over his years.
Due to the national crises there are no scheduled services at this time. Memorials and contributions may be made to the Gideon's International or to the Halifax Hospice in Orange City, Fl.
