Raymond Q. Entrekin

Raymond Q. Entrekin, age 88, of Maitland, Florida passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Entrekin and Lenora Strickland, brother, Roy Entrekin, and grandson, Dutch Van Tessell.

 He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gladys M. Entrekin, son, Jeffrey Raymond (Susan) Entrekin, daughters, Terry Lynn (Gary) Hughes and Cynthia Lea (Bob) Hermanns, grandchildren, Carly Hermanns, Michael Raymond Ikemeier, Amanda Hermanns Bryan Hermanns, Ryan Ikemeier and Ashley Anderson.

 Ray was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his dedicated planning and organizing of numerous golf tournaments and sports outings and was a cherished member of UMM.

 Raymond was a caring husband who cherished his family. His vibrant energy was infectious and his spirit brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He was a loving father, who loved spending time with his grandkids. He and his wife, were born and grew up in Douglasville, GA. He especially enjoyed golf, fishing and watching baseball on tv. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday March 27, 2025 at 10:30am at Asbury United Methodist Church, Maitland, FL. 

 Arrangements are by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel).
