Raymond Craig Koenig, 67, of Orlando Florida, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2024 while traveling to Boston to meet with his sister and brother in law. Raymond, better known to his family and friends as Craig, was preceded in death by his father Raymond E. Koenig (d.2017) and mother Ruth M. Koenig, nee Adams (d.2014) of St. Louis, Missouri. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Pamela G. Koenig (nee Spencer), daughter Krista Koenig-Ortagus, sons Joseph Koenig and Jesse Koenig, aunt Charm Narkawicz, sister Katherine Davis(David), brother Karl Koenig(Marsha), sister Karen Neumeyer(Joel), and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Craig was a man of service and faith. He served his country with the United States Air Force, meeting his wife while stationed in Nebraska. He then served a 30 year career in law enforcement as a trooper with the Florida Highway Patrol, retiring in 2015 with the rank of Lieutenant. After retiring, Craig continued his service to his community by donating blood and platelets weekly for many years. Craig was also an active member of his church, serving on several committees. He also enjoyed praising God with his voice, singing in the Parish Choir. In death, Craig gave the gift of life to others through organ and tissue donation.

Craig was known to be a jokester and a man of great wit. He loved to have a good laugh and often played practical jokes on his family. He was a humble man who at his core was a man of faith. He believed that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior, and that it is through him we have eternal life. He now rests in the arms of our Lord God Almighty, singing with the Heavenly Hosts. " Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle. He is my steadfast love and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield and he in whom I take refuge". Psalm 144:1-2.
