Rebecca Powell Rickman

Becky Powell Rickman, 82, went home to her Heavenly Father on October 5, 2023.

Becky was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Barney Rickman Jr., and her brother, Bill Powell. She is survived by daughter Ronda Rickman, sons Barney "Jay" (Pam) Rickman III and Scott Rickman. She adored her grandchildren, Amber (Brett) Adams, Brittany (Brady) Trainor, Jordan Rickman and Eric Sicard; and great-grandsons Brett Michael Adams Jr., Jean-Luc Adams, Kian Trainor and Charles Adams. She shared a lifetime of laughter with sister Laura (Galen) Conner and brother Lynn (Christena) Powell. Becky was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Becky was born in Charlotte NC in 1941. She relocated to Orlando FL where she lived for the majority of her life. She worked several retail jobs. Becky enjoyed going to church, painting, reading and spending time with family. She was an active member of First Baptist of Longwood and previous member of Woodhaven Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She treasured her church friendships and was known for her kind, loving heart.


Services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Woodhaven Baptist Church (3035 36th St Orlando FL 32839).

The family will receive condolences at the church from 9:00 am until 10:00 am.

The Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 am.
