Rebecca was born to Bernard and Patricia Rivers. She was predeceased by her mother Patricia. Becca was the only girl in her family and was adored by her big brothers. She leaves behind her loving children Chloe Echeverria (13) and Elijah Echeverria (16). Along with her brother, Stephen Rivers, his wife Anne Marie Rivers of Millville, Massachusetts and their children Elizabeth, William and Vanessa Rivers. She also leaves behind her brother Daniel Rivers and his wife Roman Rivers of Lanesboro, Mass. As well as many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Rebecca loved playing sports as a kid. She played softball and soccer. She loved having her brother Stephen as her coach for many of the teams she played on. Becca's smile could light up any room. Her parents were so happy when they found out they were having a baby girl and loved her big blue eyes and blonde hair.
Becca decided to move from Massachusetts to Florida with one of her closest friends Sarah. She loved Florida and decided to start her family here. Her greatest joy in her life was her children Elijah and Chloe. She loved being a mom and was so proud of all of their accomplishments. She enjoyed traveling with her kids and making memories that she treasured. One of her favorite trips was to Puerto Rico and she was looking forward to going back.
Becca had the most beautiful blue eyes and an infectious smile. She had a love for Country music and often went to concerts. Becca also had a deep love for the Boston Red Sox. She will be remembered for her ability to make intricate French braids, make delicious crock pot meals, her love for any cat she met, and the best Turkey every Thanksgiving.
The Rivers Family would like to extend their gratitude to all of Becca's Best Friends and caretakers who help her when her health was declining and in her final days. Becca was lucky to have the support and love from so many people. In memory of Becca her daughter Chloe has requested that everyone wear her favorite color Purple to her services on Wednesday, July 13. Visitation is from 4pm-8pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Orlando Chapel. A funeral service will begin at 6:30pm.
