Rebecca Lynn Valletta

Rebecca Lynn Valletta departed this life peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the age of 59. She was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on November 16, 1957 to the late John Harold and Kathleen Jewel Stoner. Rebecca was the youngest of five children.

She met her soul mate, George Valletta in Clearlake, Texas and they were married on January 15, 1983. She has been a resident of Central Florida since 2003.

Rebecca will be remembered as the fun loving matriarch of her family. She really enjoyed bowling and was a past member of various bowling leagues around the country.

Memories will be cherished by her husband, George; children, Carrie Ann Obed (David), Kelly Lynn Sparks (Jeremy) and James Frederick; step-father, James Stoner; sisters, Mary Smith (Ken), Beverly Neff (Terry) and Julia Bowman; brother, Johnny Wright; grandchildren, William, Garrett, Alexandria, Taylor and Hunter; and her adoring great grand baby, Violet. Her kind and precious spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

A Gathering of Family & Friends will begin at 12PM on Wednesday, September 20th at Newcomer Funeral Home in East Orlando following with a Celebration of Rebecca's Life beginning at 3PM.
