Rena Rose Hunt, age 99, passed away peacefully in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Rena was born on November 10, 1920 in Haverhill, Massachusetts to parents Arthur and Agnes Beauregard. She was married to Leo A. Hunt a WWII Army Air Corp B-17 Gunner on July 1945.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Albert and his wife Cherie Hunt & Bob and his wife Cindy Hunt; 4 granddaughters, Mandy Shepard, Jennifer Delany and Stephanie all of North Carolina and Selina Gavin of Ohio; 3 grandsons, Tim Hunt of Melbourne, Florida, Derick Hunt of Pelham, Alabama, and Philip Hunt of Amelia Courthouse, Virginia and many other great grandchildren and friends, all who will miss her greatly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Albert Hunt; son John Paul Hunt; granddaughter Karin Duggan also preceding Rena were 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
She moved to Starlight Ranch, Orlando FL in 1999 where she made many lasting friendships & the last 3 years presided at Conway Lakes Nursing Home where she was greatly cared for. She enjoyed selling 50/50 tickets and handing out candy every Thursday night at Three Points Bowling alley, where she became friends with many people, who called her "Mom". She loved to dance & hardly ever missed her Friday & Saturday night bands at the Eagles (FOE) & Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
Public services for Rena have been canceled due to the current risk of the coronavirus contagion.
She will be missed by all.
