Reuben Sleister

Sleister, Reuben- Age 73 of Port Orange, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2008. He was born in Appling, Georgia. He was a retired Air Force veteran receiving the Bronze Star in Vietnam. He was an Electronics Tech. Supervisor in the Airforce. He was a member of the Masons, Shriners and Scottish Rite. He is survived by his sons, Randall Sleister and Kevin Sleister; daughter, Theresa Taylor, step-daughter, Lara Linser; brothers, Herbert Sleister, John E. Sleister and Allen D. Sleister; sister, Rebecca Pelayo; 7 grandchildren, one great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 24, 2008 in Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in memory of Mr. Sleister to Hospice of Volusia-Flagler.
