Rev. Antonio Cotto was born in 1939 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico. His love was his wife and family. His love for the Lord led him to the seminary. He did his training at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grand Prairie, Texas, under the supervision of Thomas McCrome. He proceded to open San Miguel Lutheran Church in Ft. Worth, dedicated in honor of his beloved brother Miguel. After building his congregation from thirteen to over six hundred parishioners, the Lord led him to Christ the King Episcopal in Orlando to administer the Hispanic mission. He did pastoral care at Florida Hospital East for four years, bringing spiritual support to the sick. He went home to be with the Lord where there is no sorrow and there is life everlasting. He is survived by his wife Lucy, and his children Alice and Anthony, as well as his siblings Ada, Salvador, Pablo, Pedro, and Carlos. Visitation for the Rev. Cotto will be held from 5-9PM tonight, May 16, 2006 at Newcomer Family Fuenral Home, East Orlando. A funeral mass will take place at 1:00PM at Christ the King Episcopal Church, 26 Willow Drive, Orlando.
