Richard Wayne Burns

Richard Wayne Burns, 72, of Orlando, FL, passed away on February 11, 2025. 

He was known early in life as “Ricky” and later on as “Rick.” 

He was born in Huntington, New York, and married Linda Marie Pabo on September 29, 1973. They moved to Orlando, FL, where they resided for 51 years. 

Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Garnet, and his father, Richard.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Linda; daughter, Alicia; son, Bryan; sister, Barbara; and brother-in-law, Steve.

Rick was a hard-working Auto Tech most of his life. In his free time, he enjoyed restoring his 1971 Super Beetle. He also enjoyed fishing with his family and friends. He trailored his boat to Port Canaveral, Florida and caught good size Mahi and other large fish. At home he loved to be with his family grilling and having fun in the pool. His favorite vacation spot was Sanibel Island where they walked on the beach and watched the sunset.
