Richard Daniel Padgett, 77, of Orlando, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013.
Richard was born on June 12, 1935 to William and Augusta (Bush) Padgett at Detroit, MI.
He was self employed and retired to Orlando, FL 25 years ago. For the last 12 years he had settled in the Gulfstream Harbor community where he quickly made many friends who became his extended family.
On November 6, 2012 he married Frances E. Martinez-Padgett. Richard and Frances lived in Orlando, FL.
Richard was an Army veteran. He attended St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church and Aloma Baptist Church. He enjoyed poker, bowling, and cruising the high seas. Richard enjoyed life, his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Richard is survived by his loving Wife, Frances, Sons Stephen (Mary) Richard Padgett, Michael (Catherine) Gerald Padgett and David (Amy) William Padgett, Sisters, Diane Schwinck and Carol Padgett, 11 Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Russell Padgett and Augusta (Bush) Padgett and two sisters.
Richard requested no public services.
