Richard (Rick) Allen Davis, age 65, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. He was born to Charles and Phyllis Davis on February 10, 1957 in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Rick was blessed with a large, loving family. His faith in Jesus instilled in him a servant's heart that was dedicated to helping family and friends in need. He was an entrepreneur and a business owner who also worked as a skilled home renovator and painter. He had many loves in life including fishing, a good steak, and camaraderie, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and family. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with the Lord.
Rick was a man who emanated charm and humor. His storytelling was hypnotic and his jokes were irresistible. His presence immediately lifted spirits in any room he entered. He was a true raconteur.
He could also delight by sharing his love of food and good home cooking. Rick loved preparing meals that, like himself, were hearty and full of soul.
Rick was preceded in death by his father Charles, his brother Harry (Duke) and son Ricky. He is survived by his mother Phyllis, his two daughters, Amanda and April; his six grandsons: Christian, Noah, Ashton, Luke, Lane, and Kobe; his siblings Bill, Romaine, John, Mary, Kenneth, Tina, Sandra, and Andy; his lifelong friend and the mother of his children, Lori; and his honorary sons: Bill, Steven, and Kurt.
