Richard I. Fox, age 82, of Orlando, FL passed away Wednesday October 7, 2015.
He was born on June 5, 1933 in Muncie, IN to the late Austin and Ruth Fox. Rick was a US Air Force veteran, retired Postal Carrier for the USPS, a longtime member and deacon of Orlando Central SDA Church, an active member and past Master of Masonic Eola Lodge #207, and also active in Commandery and York Rite. He had a great interest in music and was a former band and choir director of school music. His hobbies include model railroads, skeet shooting, and motorcycle riding. Since retirement, he liked to walk around the neighborhood and give treats to the cats.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy Fox; sons, Austin (Michelle) Fox and Jeffrey Lee (Veronica) Fox Straugh; several grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Darleen) Fox; and sister, Carol (David) Kalp.
Visitation is Tuesday October 13, 2015 from 1pm to 2pm with funeral service starting at 2pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (East Orlando Chapel), 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, FL 32822.
Pastor Cleber Machado is officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
