LEVERE, RICHARD G. (DICK), age 70, of Orlando, FL, died on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen
Masterson; his daughters and their spouses, Jeanne (Levere) and Chris Todaro and Suzanne (Levere) and Wayne Grider; his granddaughter, Sarah Grider; his sister, Joyce (Levere) Choate; his niece, Jo-Ellen (Choate) O'Meara; and nephews, Jeffrey Choate and
Jonathan Choate. A Memorial Service will be held Dec. 10, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL. Visitation at 2 pm, Service at 3 pm. Dick was born in Westfield, MA on March 28, 1941, to Dorothy (Speare) and Raymond Levere. In 1963 he graduated from St.
Michael's College, VT, with a BS in Chemistry and in 1970 he received a MS from Binghamton University. He worked for IBM in Endicott, NY, Owego, NY and North Harbour, Portsmouth, England. He retired from IBM in 1994 and started work for Lockheed Martin, retiring in 1997. He was passionate about his career, hobbies and interests which included program management, music (playing and listening), skiing, girl scouts, stamp collecting, model railroading, wood working, world travel, Koi fish, investments, Red Wings hockey, and Bible studies. Dick had a wonderful sense of humor, a positive attitude and he started every day with a song and a smile. He is loved and will be missed!
