Richard L. Stewart
April 23, 1927 — July 16, 2016
Richard Leonard Stewart, 89, died peacefully at home on July 16, 2016.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was preceded in death by parents
Raymond and Ethel Stewart and brother James P. Stewart. He grew up
in Euclid, Ohio. Richard served in the US Army and after service attended
Miami University,Oxford Ohio and John Carrol University in Cleveland, Ohio.
In 1956 Richard moved to Ft. Lauderdale where he met and married his wife
Gerda Rosengart. He is survived by his wife, daughter Linda, son Neal (Stephanie)
grandsons Daniel and Christopher, cousin Martha J. Chovan (William) William
Shisler (Joyce) and extended family.
He was an Allstate Insurance Agent for 35 years, a devoted family man. He loved life
and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed.
