Richard Charles McClure, age 68 of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006. Born in Rockford, Illinois, he moved to Central Florida in 1994.
He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam and retired from the Foreign Service with the United States Agency of International Development after 24 years of service.
He survived by his wife Patricia McClure of Altamonte Springs, FL; sons, Charles S. McClure of Santa Monica, CA, David B. McClure of Ashland, OR and Patrick G. McClure of Altamonte Springs, FL; sister, Cynthia J. Wells of Rockford, IL and brother, William B. McClure of Chicago, IL.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in the Chapel of Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the service. A private interment will held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
