Richard P. Mcbride

Mr. Richard P. "Curly" McBride, 86 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013. He was born on November 3, 1926 in Titusville, Pennsylvania to Harry V. McBride and Elizabeth A. (Brannon) McBride who have both preceded him in death. He was the last surviving of seven brothers and sisters. He moved to Orlando in 1978.

Curly was a retired Civil Engineer retiring from Greiner Engineering. He was a graduate of Colestock High School in Pennsylvania and held a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Indiana Technical College. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #2112, The Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Orlando Moose Lodge.

Curly was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Patrick Raymond McBride and Brett Andrew McBride. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Theresa McBride; daughter, Joy Lee and her husband, Andy; son, Tui Chumlongluk and his wife, Connie Ricotta; daughter, Kim MacGregor and her husband, Scott and his grandchildren, Elle Chumlongluk, Jason Lee and Michael Lee. He is also survived by two sisters in law, Julia McBride and Jackie McBride, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church Building Fund, 5900 Oleander Drive, Orlando, Florida 32807.
