Rita Jewel Francisco Hamilton, age 74 of Orlando passed away Friday, February 3, 2006. Born in Sale Creek, Tennessee, she moved to Orlando in 1952. She was a homemaker and of the Episcopal Faith.
She was a devoted mother to her four children, Robert Hamilton of Orlando, Karen Hamilton Ashworth of Charlotte, North Carolina, David Hamilton of Griffin, Georgia and Bethany Hamilton of Orlando; she also leaves behind six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her sister Sue Potter Chattanooga, Tennessee and her special cousin Mary Powell of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Graveside Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida.
