Rita Diane Massie

Rita Diane Massie, 64, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on March 11, 1956 to Bobby and Barbara Raney.

Rita is survived by her daughters, Robin Massie and Angel Massie Roberts; her three stepchildren, Jerry, Terry, and Tonya; her twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Katherine Massie, Sandy Beaudoin, and Linda Mays.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Barbara Raney; her sister, Lori Raney; brother, Robert Raney; her step-daughter, Sherry; and her step-son, Brian.

As the boss in her family, she set the example by being stubborn and strong-willed, but still had a heart of gold, and would try to do anything to help anyone. She would do anything for her children and grandchildren. Everyone is going to miss their "G-ma." Rita strived to walk the path that God laid out for her, and lead her family by example.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, with a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
