Robert Howard Collins, 65, was born February 9, 1956 and departed this life on February 12, 2021.
Robert was born in Orlando and proud of his Central Florida Heritage which included a family dairy farm. He also reveled in the Florida outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Robert served in the US Army after high school before working primarily in carpentry and construction. He retired as a field superintendent UBC (United Brotherhood of Carpenters) 1765.
Robert was a long time Conway native and member of the Conway United Methodist Church.
Robert was well known for his music appreciation, sense of humor and bright smile.
He was preceded in death by parents Hanson E. and Marie (née Kenton) Collins. siblings Carolyn Heaton, Charlotte Collins and Eddie (Hanson, Jr.).
Robert is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years,Terri, daughters Jennifer Collins and Taylor Collins. Robert's two granddaughters (Olivia Jade Keeville and Ayva Marie Smith) were the delight of his life. He also leaves behind a large extended family and a multitude of friends who are saddened by his unexpected transition to Heaven.
