Robert Earl Lapole

LAPOLE, Robert Earl- 80, of Maitland, died suddenly on September 30, 2007. Born on January 10, 1927, in Huntington, W. VA., to the late Lindsey and Gladys (Schafer) Lapole. He served in the army during WWII. He worked at Martin, Marietta, in MD, CA and FL, and at Vitro in MD and Orlando, Florida as an aerospace engineer before retiring. He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Dalean "Tommie" Lapole, his daughter Patricia (Michael), sister, Phyllis Crabtree, Birmingham, AL, grandson, Warren Shipley, and his prides and joys his great grandchildren, Dakota Shipley, and Alex Shipley and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Lindsey L. Lapole Jr. Graveside Servicewill be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 4, 2007 in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
