Robert Joseph Fanning, 54 years of age, passed away on August 10, 2021 to begin his new life with the Lord. Rob was born in Baltimore, MD and raised in Altamonte Springs, FL.
Rob graduated from the University of Central Florida. Rob loved the game of baseball. He loved watching his son play travel ball and spending time with his family. He enjoyed life and lived his life to the fullest. Rob was loved by many and had many dear friends, whom he loved spending time with. Rob enjoyed the sound of laughter and making those around him laugh. Rob was smart, brighten and intelligent person. He loved to travel, the thrill of adventure, and greatly inspired those around him. Whether you were family, a friend, or a first time acquaintance, you were touched by his generosity, compassion and unconditional love. He taught loved ones to enjoy life, live life and to love those most dearly. Rob was a hard worker, a man with strong work ethics, tempered by personal warmth.
Rob is survived by his wife of 21 years, Michelle Fanning; his son, Ean Fanning; brothers, James Fanning and Michael Fanning; and sister Patricia Mace. Rob left this earth, but his spirit and memories remain in the hearts of all of us. We love youy, Rob. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Visitation will be held from 12-1 PM on Thursday, August 19 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 335 E. SR 434, Longwood, FL, 32750. The memorial service will begin at 1 PM.
