Robert G. Musillo
Robert G. Musillo, 83, of Orlando, Florida, (formerly of Pittsburgh, PA) passed away April 15, 2013. He was the devoted husband of Vincentina Porco Musillo and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Robert was born May 8, 1929, and was the son of the late Mary K. and Daniel Musillo. After serving in the National Guard, he and his partner, Richard Plummer, owned a successful business, Richard and Robert Jewelers, in Pittsburgh for over 35 years. Robert will be especially remembered as an inventor who never stopped looking for "a better way," as an artist who created beautiful paintings, and as a teacher who believed in passing on his knowledge and experience to others. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Orlando, FL.
In addition to his loving wife, Robert is survived by his children, Theresa Dardanell and husband Frank; Michael Musillo and wife Jan; Diane DiNardi and husband Timothy; Christine Parenti and husband Robert; grandchildren Maria Maya, Anthony Dardanell, Jennifer Smith, Stephanie Musillo, Jackie Musillo, Lexi Musillo, Samantha Musillo, Angelo DiNardi, Nicolina DiNardi, Timothy DiNardi, Jr. (deceased), and great grandchildren Demetrio Maya, Sara Dardanell, Alex Jackson and Jovian Smith.
Memorial Service to be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, April 20, at 2:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Gabriel Church, 5200 Greenridge Drive, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Friday, April 26, at 10:00 a.m.
Family suggests memorial contributions to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Orlando, FL; St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, TN; or Serra Catholic High School, McKeesport, PA.
