Robert is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine Katherine Matthews; Daughter, Florane Matthews; Daughter, Gloria Lawless; Son, Robert Matthews Jr.; Son, John Matthews; Son, Leonard Matthews; Daughter, Veronica Sample; Son, Alfonso Matthews; Sister, Ruthie Matthews; Sister, Frances Matthews; and Sister, Margaret Matthews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday, January 3, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, Florida.
