Robert Proskey

Robert Proskey, age 64 of Orlando, passed away Friday August 19, 2005. He was born to Joseph Proskey and Mary Marucarz on July 24, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois. He was retired from data security with AT&T after thirty-four years of service. Robert was a scholar, intellectual, debater, inventor, and astronomer. He loved art, classical music and life. He was loved by all and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph B. Proskey. Robert is survived by his wife Karen, his sons Robert Proskey, Jr. and Michael Proskey; his daughters Jakki Proskey and Vanessa Proskey; his brothers Ronald J. Proskey, Albert Proskey and step-brother Danny Proskey. Robert is also survived by his three grandchildren Michael Proskey, Jr., Jaqueline Hope Proskey, and Alexander Logan. Visitation will be held tonight Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, East Orlando, from 4-8pm. Funeral services will begin at 7 pm. Services are under the direction of Newcomer Family Funeral Home, East Orlando.
