Robert E. Boyte Iii

On Friday March 29th, 2024, Robert "Rob" E. Boyte III passed away
peacefully. He would have been 58 years old on his birthday April
26th. Rob is survived by his mother, Judith Parish Boyte, his father,
Robert E. Boyte jr., his sister Dana E. Boyte and numerous cousins of
a large and loving extended family.

A graduate of the University of Central Florida with both a Bachelors
and Masters of Art in English, Rob was not only a lover of the English
language but a student in appreciation of its practitioners. He read
across the entirety of various genre', style, subject amassing a
substantial library that demonstrated his wide and eclectic taste.

Rob was a warm, kind, loving and sensitive man whose shyness often hid
his humor and wit. His interests ranged from politics to polemics. He
loved a serious discussion that included proof of fact, and detested
an argument that followed an endless circuitous route to nothing. He
rarely suffered the latter and always sought the former.

Rob loved good food, animals (particularly domestic cats), and science
fiction. As with many young men of his generation, the lure of graphic
novels and fictional fantasy defined a portion of their entertainment.
Superman, Batman, and various other super heroes joined comfortably
the other aspects of his life.

Rob died too soon with many steps left in his journey. He will be
missed not only at the family holiday celebrations but in our hearts
whenever we hear a clever joke he would have appreciated or a warm
sentiment that showed someone genuinely cared for another. As his
paternal grandfather described him, "He has a gentle soul" . He was
truly one of the "Good Guys"
