Robert T. Anderson

ANDERSON - Robert T., 84, longtime Orlando, Florida, resident on April 18, 2012. Beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father of Barbara Kunda (Kenneth), Patricia Hardy (David) and Carol Sherman (Edward). Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Ward, James Ward (Deena), Heather Reynolds, Jesse Reynolds (Kassie) and Valerie Burchett (Brent). Great-grandfather of Jacob Reynolds, Juliana Rodriguez, Karli Reynolds, Kody Reynolds, Danica Ward, Bailey Ward and Jaylen Reynolds.

Bob was born on April 28, 1927 in Floral Park, New York and was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Following his military service, he worked as a Shipwright at the Brooklyn Naval Shipyard and Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, retiring in 1973.

Bob's passions were baseball and golf. He also enjoyed going on cruises, stamp collecting, and being an active volunteer in his community.

He was so very loved and will be dearly missed. Here's to a good man -- the life he lived, the hearts he touched, the legacy he left behind in all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

A private burial will take place at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY on May 9. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Robert T. Anderson to The National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
