Robin Lynn Klavon, aka "Lips", "Big Red" (because of her trademark Peg Bundy big red hair!), "CAR" (Crazy Aunt Robin), and "Beautiful" (after her favorite perfume), age 65, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024.
She was born on August 23, 1958 in Tulsa, OK to her late parents, Tom and Mary (Jones) Bradley. Robin was married three times, and on December 3, 1996, she married her fourth husband, Michael Klavon, to whom she would spend the next 27 years with together.
Robin was known for a multiple number of occupations over the course of her working career. She was an insurance underwriter and moved to Florida in 1994 and transitioned into the furniture industry. She was a sales representative and manager for stores such as Dinettes Unlimited, Conway's, Behr's, and Hudson's from where she retired from in 2009. She then became a stay at home mom to her son, Dalton.
She enjoyed traveling, all throughout Florida and international vacations to Sweden, Norway, Greece, and Germany. Robin was an avid motorcycle rider, and enjoyed reading, drawing, and riding horses. She was very passionate about lighthouses, and a dedicated animal lover. Robin was a people person and made friends very easily, in particular her very good friends, Steve Landis and Jimi Gottsponer. She commanded the room whenever she walked in, even in her later years when her health was starting to fade.
Robin is survived by her husband, Michael Klavon of Orlando; her son, Dalton Klavon; a grandson, Oliver Humes; and her sister, Monica Lamp aka "Sugar"; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando, officiated by her brother-in-law, Jeff Lamp.
