Rocco A. Certo, Md

Certo, Rocco A., M.D.- Age 85, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2004. He was a dedicated family physician for 35 years in Miami and a lifetime member of the Florida Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the Orange County Medical Society. An avid football fan, he volunteered his medical services to the North Miami Senior High School football team for 27 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio & Josephine Certo, sister, Aurora and brother, Salvatore Certo, M.D.. He is survived by his wife, Pam Certo of Orlando; daughter, Mary Jo Guinan of Hope Sound, FL; son, Antonio Certo, M.D. and wife Susan of Orlando; granddaughters, Danielle & Christine Guinan; mother-in-law, Irene Wagner. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 in the Newcomer Family Funeral Home East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation for friends will be held in the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 24, 2004.
