Rocco Polidoro, age 76 of Orlando passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2005. Born in Long Island City, Queens, N.Y. he moved to Central Florida in 1992. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #5618; V.F.W. Post #4287 and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his sons, John of Orlando and Michael of New Jersey; grandchildren, Nicole, Michele and Anthony and a great grandson, Matthew; 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 23, 2005 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando. The family will receive friends at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd. Orlando 407-277-4227 on Sunday from
1:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 PM. Messages of condolences may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com.
