Rodolfo Majano

1968 – 2024

Rodolfo Majano, 56, of Florida, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Rodolfo was born in Alianza Valle, Honduras, on January 23, 1958, and raised by his loving aunt Francisca "Paquita" Majano until he relocated to the United States. He was a member of Iglesia Cristiana Bethel, Inc. (Bethel Christian Church, Inc.) Sanford, Florida.

Rodolfo's life was a testament to dedication and passion. His talents and hobbies were many, but he was known for his extensive roofing knowledge, making it his profession for over 30 years. He also loved fishing, gardening, cooking, and tinkering with auto repairs. Known for telling jokes, being a soccer fan, and many times snoozing under a shaded tree. Rodolfo loved talking about his time in Honduras and wished for many years to one day return to his beloved country. Rodolfo enjoyed reading and sharing the Bible with whoever gave him an opportunity. He hoped that everyone would turn their hearts to Jesus. Music was always important to him, playing it constantly at home; he passed this love of music to his boys.

On January 16, 2015, he became a United States citizen, one of his proudest moments. Rodolfo was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle who would be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Rodolfo was preceded in death by his parents, Angela Majano and Norberto Fernandez, his brother Roberto Paz, and his sister, Lala Paz.

Rodolfo's love for his family and friends was as vast as his love for life. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Nora I. Majano; sons, Rodolfo and Eliezer Majano; "Mom" - mother-in-law, Leonor Fonseca; brothers-in-law, Pablo Fonseca; Roberto Fonseca, and wife, Michelle; Nephew, Roberto Daniel and Niece, Michelle Isabel; Nephew, Pablo David Fonseca and wife Elimary, great-nephews, Christopher and Nathan; sister, Cruz Maria Majano; along with lots of extended family and many loving friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but his love will always be with us.

Funeral services will be at Newcomers Funeral Home in Longwood, Florida. Due to Hurricane Milton, the graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 15th at the Historic Lake Mary Cemetery, with Pastor Angel Morales officiating.
