Roger Neal Pearson was born November 4, 1931 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Walter E. and Lora M. Pearson, and passed away peacefullly on June 27, 2013 in Orlando, Florida. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving stateside during the Korean War. A loving husband and father of five children, Roger was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Patsy Jean Pearson, his daughters Renee Jeanette Pearson and Teresa Beth Pipitone, his brother Walter Pearson, and his sister Joyce Flanagan. He is fondly remembered and deeply missed by his surviving children, Joe Roger Pearson, Lora Michelle Tucker, and Mitzi Louise Sheppard, his sister Nancy Robison, his nieces and nephews, and nine grandchildren, Eric Dickerson, Casey Dickerson, Grant Dickerson, Alexandria Pearson, Mallorie Durden, Mitchell Durden, Marabeth Durden, Julian Tucker, Mae Tucker, and Eli, his future first great grandson. Roger raised his family in Bixby, Oklahoma and retired from General Electric after his youngest child graduated from college. He then moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where he bought and sold real estate, played tennis, fished and enjoyed going to breakfast every morning at Foxy's diner. He recently moved to an Assisted Living Facility in Orlando, Florida where his daughter Mitzi lives. His ashes will be buried in the grave next to Patsy's in the cemetery in Bixby, Oklahoma.
