Rhoeina Persaud, age 89 of Orlando, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016. She was born in Alness Village, Guyana on February 20, 1927 to Richard Bactawar and Iris Achadoo Bactawar. Mrs. Persaud was a seamstress.
She is preceded in death by her son, Samuel Luther Persaud. She is survived by her husband, Arjoon Persaud; sons Vidya Persaud, Dave Alva Persaud, Paul Persaud, Frank Gordon and Euclid Siv Persaud; daughter, Ann Rosena Ebsen; 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11AM-12PM, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Orlando. Funeral services will begin at 12PM. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Orlando.
