Rolla Dean Richey, 87 of Orlando passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008. He was born in St. John's, Arizona and was a retired Professor of Civil Engineering at Polk Community College. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his son, David Dean Richey; daughter, Beverly Eichelberger and her husband James; brothers, Phillop Richey and his wife Anna, Milford Richey and his wife Doreen and Dale Richey and his wife Nancy; sisters, Cherrell Durrant and her husband Howard and Lavina Platt and her husband Henry; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints, 3001 S. Apopka Vineland Road, Orlando. Interment with Military Honors will follow at 1:30 PM at Floirda National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
