Rolland Bryce Geer

Rolland Bryce Geer--------beloved husband of Norma Geer; loving father of Rhonda Estep of Bellview Fl, Michelle (Jim) Lewis of Summerfield Fl, and Pamela (John) Geist of Reynoldsburg Ohio. Stepsons Fred (Kathy) Johnson of Lincoln Ill, Craig (Raquel) Johnson of Orlando Fl. Cherished grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 4.
He was preceded in death by beloved Wife Marjorie Trace Geer and 12 brothers & sisters.

Rod was born Oct. 9, 1928 to Ralph and Grace (Ferrell) Geer. He joined a large family with 12 siblings and lived many years in the Newark and Granville area and was a member of Heath Church of Christ. He served in the army from 1946-1948. In 1975 he moved to the Sunshine State of Florida. He has been a longtime member of Faith Assembly of God and in 1976 he became ordained & became Pastor Rod.

Throughout his life he pursued many careers; working 18 years at Kaiser Aluminum, farmer, mechanic, construction, & inventor. He was never afraid to try anything. He also was an avid gardener & had the prettiest roses on the block. He was a role model to his children & grandchildren who will always cherish him in their hearts.

Services will be held at Faith Assembly of God with visitation from 12:00 - 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Pastor Fred Johnson and Rev. Gerson Torres officiating.
Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
