Ronald E. Chester, age 75, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on September 14, 1946, to parents Fred and Ruby Chester. Ron married his sweetheart and love of his life of 48 years, Becky A. Chester.
Ron graduated from Colonial High School in Orlando, Florida in 1965, and studied Criminal Justice at Valencia College. He served in various capacities of law enforcement with Orange County Sheriffs Office and Edgewood Police Department. Ron worked in the dairy industry for over 20 years, serving in route sales with T.G. Lee Dairy, and lastly as operations manager for Sunny Florida Dairy.
Ron enjoyed riding his motorcycles, hunting whenever he got the chance, watching westerns and Florida State football. He loved his family and especially the grandkids. He was a very special Grampy. His days were always full of happiness as long as his precious spaniel, Annie, was by his side.
Ron is survived by his Wife, Becky Chester; Son, Scott Chester (Candy) of Ontario, Canada; Daughter, Kristina Cosme (Jose) of Colorado Springs, CO; Son, Roger Vaughn; Daughter, Ronnie Painter; Grandsons, Kyle Chester and Peyton Johnson; Five Granddaughters, Alexia and Mya Johnson and Kayla, Khloe, and Karalyn Cosme; Mother, Ruby Chester of DeBary, FL; Brother, Michael Chester (Susie) of Orange City, FL.; and Sister, Vickie Lott. He is preceded in death by his Father, Fred Chester.
The Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday July 30, 2022, at Faith Assembly of God in Orlando, Florida, located at 9307 Curry Ford Rd., Orlando, Florida 32825. Food and Refreshments to follow on site.
