Ronald F. Stone, known to his friends as Ron and affectionately called Pop-pop by his grandchildren, lived in Orlando, FL by way of San Bernardino, CA.
Ron loved his family, animals, The Los Angeles Rams and being outdoors. He was looking forward to retiring in June and was making plans to hit up some great fishing spots in the area. God called Ron home for a lifelong fishing trip on Saturday, April 13.
Ron served in the U.S. Navy and Army for a total of8 years and would tell stories about his airborne experience with the Army; one of his favorite places that he was stationed at was Germany. Ron didn't want to leave California but found his now wife Grace online via a chatroom and moved to Florida from California in 2000 to be with her and her two kids, Jessica and Carlos. Ron and Grace were married for 24 years and had the pleasure of navigating the highs and lows of life together: raising teens, buying a house, adopting dogs and cats, losing dogs and cats, losing family and friends and traveling.
Ron leaves behind his wife Grace, his kids Jessica and Carlos, his grandchildren Angel, Jeremiah, Elijah, Julia and Ilyana. Along with his son-in-law Archie and daughter-in-law Joana, his brother Alan, nieces, nephews and his beloved cat Keekaroo. Our hearts are grieved that Ron is no longer here with us, but our hearts are full of joy knowing that he is in the presence of Jesus and will live forever in our hearts.
