Rosa Margarita Oliver, 46, of Kissimmee, FL passed away on November 14, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Rosa was born on October 22, 1973 to Heriberto Colon and the late Carmen Gonzales Rodriguez in the Bronx, NY. Most recently, she was a counselor at Florida Technical College.
Rosa was a woman filled with joy and life. She saw the great in everything and everyone. Her smile was something unforgettable. She loved her children, Iveliz and Caleb, dearly, whom were her two most precious gifts. Rosa was a woman of creativity. Once something was brought into her mind, she wanted to create it. Some of her favorite hobbies were cooking for her family, spending time with her babies, shopping at Ikea, dancing to freestyle music, and making things with her hands; especially things made with wood. She was amazing at everything she did. Most importantly, Rosa was a woman of her word. Whenever she told someone she would help them, she was right there spreading her love and talent.
Rosa is survived by her beloved children; son, Caleb Oliver Colon and daughter, Iveliz Oliver-Colon, both of Kissimme; four Sisters, Amy Colon of Orlando, FL, Carmen O. Aguilar of Estero, FL, Cassandra L. Gonzalez and her wife, Rosanne, of Edgewater, FL, and Kayla I. Ocampo and her husband, Christopher, of Orlando, FL; her brother, Carlos J. Gonzalez of Orlando, FL; her special dog, MJ; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by mother, Carmen Gonzalez Rodriguez.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019, 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Orlando Chapel, 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822 with Pastor Robert Rodriguez, officiating.
Visitation will be held Monday preceding the service from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
