Rose Laura Tischler

September 18, 1938 — May 4, 2023

Rose Laura Tischler (September 18, 1938 – May 4, 2023) lived a beautiful, dignified life. She provided comfort and solace while asking little in return. Daughter of parents Albert Giuliani and Anna Mary Guglielmetti. Beloved sister of Jeanie Giuliani. She is survived by loving sons Ernie Raimondi, and his wife, Donna Raimondi, Todd Tischler and his wife, Sandra Rivera-Tischler, and Gregg Tischler and his wife, Christine Galullo, Granddaughter Alyssa Jervey, Grandsons Corey Tischler, Richard Bailey, Kyle Galullo and Derik Galullo. Great Grandchildren Theo Jervey, Forest Jervey, Richard Bailey, and Anastasia Bailey.

Her husband, Charles Tischler (1934 – 1997), adored her and together they taught their children, Ernie, Todd and Gregg, integrity, loyalty and compassion, instilling them with the confidence necessary to pursue life with a pervasive eagerness. She was everyone's hero and source of advice, comfort and counsel. Rose was born in Far Rockaway, New York. She graduated from Lawrence High School. She met Charlie, when she worked at a bowling alley. It's obvious that they both made strikes, as they fell in love and began a marriage that lasted 33 years. During this wonderful marriage, they moved to Florida. Rose worked as a bookkeeper for several companies throughout the years. Her most important trade was her dedication for family and friends.

Rose was involved with politics. She was president of the Democratic Women's Society in New York. She was president of the PTA during her children's elementary through junior high years. They didn't like that at the time. They could never get away with anything in school because she was always there. In retrospect, they are grateful of her consistent involvement in their lives.

Rose was fortunate to have her children live nearby. She enjoyed lunches, dinners, phone calls and longer happy hours with her grandkids and great grandkids. Nothing brought Rose more joy than knowing her children were happy and safe. She was very grateful to know that her children had excellent partners. She was mostly proud of the directions in life her children took. She knew she had given her children all the life skills needed.

Rose never failed to be anything less than excellent as a mother, grandmother and friend. For those growing up in her household, they were subjected to love and laughs, wild costume parties, pool parties, and holiday gatherings. She had an amazing sense of humor and a beautiful laugh. Her wit was razor sharp. She was kind, generous and compassionate. She was the best practical joker to her coworkers. She loved her entire family, despite their quirks and dysfunction. She worried about them, rooted for them, protected them, forgave them, and always kept on loving them.

Rose will be desperately missed by all those that she's left behind. Our hearts are so broken. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed. There will never be another like Rose.
