On June 10, an angel came and took his hand from mine to his new home with our Lord Jesus Christ. Roy fought a courageous battle with COPD and cancer for a long time. He was born in Dade City, FL on July 3, 1943. In 1962, he moved to Orlando where he met the love of his life, Corrine, when they were both employed by Greyhound. He served at Greyhound for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his son, Roy Thomas Miner, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Corrine Miner; daughter, Robyn (Brian) Bounds, Carmen (David) Lewis, Spring (Fred) Lesch; brother, James Miner; grandchildren, Ashley, Brooke and Miriah Bounds; Angelica Miner; Cheyenne, Nathan and Baby Taylor Lesch; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Cameron and Chase Bounds; Dakota Rosado.
Visitation will be held from 5PM-9PM, Thursday, June 14 at Newcomer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10AM, Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
