Ruby Roger 77 of Orlando passed away Saturday, November 1, 2008. She was born in Lawtey, Florida to Lester and Elizabeth Thorton Prevatt and has been a resident of Central Florida for the past several years. She retired from Belk Department Store.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward J. Roger of Orlando; daughters, Elizabeth Rash and her husband Carl of Greensboro, N.C., Kathy Atkins and her husband Bud of Franklinville, N.C., Barbara Egloff and her husband Fran of Greensboro, N.C., Debbie Park of Orlando, Patricia Light of Orlando; son, Matthew "Matt" Roger and his wife Norma of Orlando; brother, Charlie Prevatt of Jacksonville, FL; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Edward J. Roger Jr. in 2002.
