Russell Frank Marquardt, age 89, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. He was born on May 29, 1932 in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Russell was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Ann (Yoss) Marquardt; parents, Frank and Hazel Marquardt; and brothers, Robert and Richard Marquardt.
He is survived by his children, Gregory (Wendy), Richard, David, and Gail (Joel); 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Lou Ann Ward (Joe); and numerous friends.
Russell was a General Agent for Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company (Mass Mutual) for many years, and he also worked as a realtor in Sarasota.
He was a member of the Waynesboro Country Club and Meadows Country Club. He was also very active with the Easter Seals golf outing.
Russell loved gardening, cooking, and playing golf and poker. He was a big Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed all Wisconsin sports. Most of all, he was strong in his faith and loved visiting and spending time with his family.
