Ruth L. Gonzalez-Del Toro

Ruth L. Gonzalez-Del Toro age 95, of Tampa, Florida peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

Born in Candonga, Oriente, Cuba on September 2,1929, was the daughter to late parents, Jose Manuel Del Toro and Otilia Blanco.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Serafin Gonzalez; and three brothers, Aramis, Veimar, and Antonio Del Toro.

She is survived by her daughter, Mayra C. Fernandez; her son, Raul E. Gonzalez; five grandchildren, David Padron, Daniel S. Fernandez, Rebecca M. Fernandez, Elissa M. Ogonowski, Adam R. Gonzalez; and seven great-grandchildren, Arianna Ruth, Liliana Vianey, Emelina Genesis, Sariah Milay, Jose Albert Jr., Jennah Michelle, Jesmarie Caridad; a sister Dinora Del Toro; nieces and nephews.

Our “Mami, Wela, Lela, Tata” she was so loved; she was our rock; we are going to miss her deeply. The void that was left will never be filled but all of the memories will forever be cherished. She will always be in our hearts and in our prayers.

A committal service will take place at a later date at Blount & Curry Garden of Memories, Tampa, FL.
