Ruth Elizabeth Orth

Ruth Elizabeth Orth, 88 passed away surrounded by her family on January 27, 2023. She was born in New Millport, PA on June 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Clare and Josephine Spencer. She was a devoted mother with a very close relationship with her 3 children and 5 beautiful grandchildren. If you knew Ruth, you know she was quick witted, loving, patient, generous and adored by those around her. For her children and grandchildren, she was the ROCK of the family and a second mom to many others. She was referred to as "so strong" and "a shining light" to many. Her pride and joy was her family and knowing they were always happy and healthy. As a widowed mother, she always took care of us putting her own needs second. She cherished her cat, Dolly.

Ruth was married to Harry Orth on July 4, 1966, until his passing on September 7, 1980.

Ruth is survived by her children Lori Love, Casselberry; Kimberly Bosco and husband Nicky Bosco, Orlando; Mark Orth and wife Maria Orth, Orlando; grandchildren, David Love, Zachery Orth, Sophia Orth and Maxwell Orth, brother George Spencer, Blairsville, GA, several nieces and nephews and her loyal companion, Dolly (Kitty).

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Orth; mother, Josephine Spencer; father, Clare Spencer, Sr.; siblings Clare Spencer, John Spencer, Marion Couch, Lenore Spencer, Katherine Ball and grandson, Damon Orth.
Services to be held Saturday, February 4th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 894 S. Goldenrod Road in Orlando, Florida at 5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, if you prefer, please make a donation to the local humane society or ASPCA.
