S. Richard Highsmith, Jr.

S. Richard Highsmith, Jr., age 42 of Orlando, Florida passed away on March 11, 2006. Richard was an Orange County Firefighter and Paramedic for approximately 24 years and local businessman. He was past president of the Rio Pinar Civic Association and alumni of the North Carolina Outward Bound School. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include loving wife Michele and children Rachel, Cassandra and Samuel, mother Bettye Highsmith Miller, step-father Dr. Norman Miller, predeased by his father Sanford Richard Highsmith, Sr. sister Laurie Camerino brother-in-law Nicholas Camerino and nephews Dominic and Caleb Camerino.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 17, 2006 at Parkway Baptist Church, 9000 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando with Pastor Eddie Francis officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 PM on Thursday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 895 S. Goldenrod Road, Orlando.
