Sandra A. Lamontagne, age 60, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at her home in Orlando.
She was born on March 3, 1963 in Bridgeport, CT, daughter to her late parents, Nicholas and Anna (Sanko) Chowanec. Sandy was an avid pool player, you could frequently find her at Trick Shots with her own remote control. She also loved watching her two favorite teams, the New York Yankees and Miami Dolphins.
Above all, she was a loving mother and caring and attentive grandmother. Her favorite time was being with her family.
Sandy is survived by her two children, daughter, Lisa Gillette and her husband, Trey, of Rockledge, FL; and son, Steven Lamontagne of Orlando; two grandchildren, Lillian Gillette, and Lucille Gillette; two brothers, Nicholas Chowanec, Jr. and his wife, Fern, of Stratford, CT, and Robert Chowanec and his wife, Nancy, of Seymour, CT; two nephews, Nicholas Chowanec, III, and Anthony Chowanec; and her niece, Nicole Makowski.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Winter Park Chapel, 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park with Chaplain Clint Kandle officiating.
For those unable to attend, services will be livestreamed and available by clicking here and can be viewed up to 90 days after the service.
Viewing and visitation will precede the services on Friday, December 8 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
